What this site collects, what it is used for, and what we do not do with it.

What the form collects.
When you request a visit we receive what you enter: your name, phone number and ZIP code; the appliance, its brand and how urgent it is; what happened; and, if you add it, the model number.
We use it to call you back, confirm you are inside our service area and arrange the repair. We do not sell it, and we do not add you to a marketing list.
The form passes your request to the job system we run the business on, where it stays as the record of your repair. If you would rather not use the form, call (478) 888-2999.
Texts about your visit.
Texts are optional and never a condition of booking. If you check “Text me about this visit” on the request form, we text the number you gave only about that repair, such as when the technician is on the way. How many texts you receive depends on the job. Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to any of our texts and they stop; reply HELP for help. If you leave the box unchecked, we call instead.
We do not share your phone number or your consent to texts with anyone for their marketing. No mobile information is sold, rented or passed to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Who else handles it.
A few service providers run parts of this for us: the hosting and content-delivery services that serve this site, the job system we keep requests in, and the phone and text-message service we use to answer them. They handle your details only to provide that service to us, not for their own purposes.
Beyond them, we pass your details to no one unless the law requires it.
Analytics
This site does not currently use analytics tools, and it sets no tracking cookies.
This site uses Google Analytics to understand how it is used: which pages are visited, which buttons are pressed, and roughly where visitors arrive from. It uses first-party cookies, stored under this site’s own address, to tell one visit from the next.
It also records the choices tapped on this site: the appliance, the make and the urgency chosen on the request form, the symptom or error code looked up, and the question opened. Text typed into a field is never sent to Google: not your name, phone number or ZIP code, and not the model number or your message.
How long we keep it.
Only as long as we need it to arrange and warranty the repair, and to keep the business records the law requires. Then it is deleted.
This site is served only over an encrypted connection.
Signals and children.
Browsers can send a “Do Not Track” signal. There is no agreed standard for what it should switch off, so this site does not change what it does when it receives one. It does not follow you to other websites either way.
This site is meant for adults arranging a repair at home. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their details.
Your details, your say.
This site and the request form are run by Aphelion Appliance Repair LLC, an Arizona limited liability company. Ask us what we hold about you and we will tell you, correct it or delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it. Call (478) 888-2999 or write to info@aphelionappliance.com.
